Miele Dishwasher Door Won T Close

How can we fix that.

Miele dishwasher door won t close.

Mend door dishwasher wont close. Reset miele dishwasher turn on the unit using the on off button. Ps the last time we used the dishwashwer we noticed some leakage from the bottom left edge of the door. My husband opened the diswasher mid cycle not usually a problem but now the door won t close again and the water in the bottom won t drain away.

The strike plate is usually on the front top center of the dishwasher. There seems to be a bar that pops up and keeps it from closing the latch. Shows the miele dishwasher range that have autoopen drying the eco friendly way to dry your crockery. But the door still closed after that now it won t close at all.

Open and close the door and watch where the strike plate makes contact with the door. Turn the dishwasher circuit breaker off inside your home electrical panel. Any thoughts will be so appreciated or else we have to get a new dishwasher. If the dishwasher door hinges are bent or loose then the door cannot close properly.

Install the inner door panel then close the door to test the latch for function. Door catch on miele dishwasher won t close. Press the start stop button and hold it until the red light starts blinking. If the strike plate is out of alignment it will hit the inside of the door.

Replace the dishwasher door hinges if you find them to be bent or damaged. No response after waiting for 30 minutes or so. We were hoping to get an answer tonight as supposedly 4 technicians were still online. It holds the dishwasher door on and the pivoting allows the dishwasher door to open and close.

Help on that leakage issue would be welcome too. There is more help available. If the latch closes and the switches are. The dishwasher door of our miele dishwasher won t close any longer.
