From what i can tell a mini convertible crib will covert to a twin bed and a regular convertible crib to a full size so is the the only difference the mini crib is a little smaller.

The mattress sizes will also differ. Full size cribs have specifically mandated dimensions whereas mini cribs are usually about 36 to 43 long. But would our child outgrow it too quickly. A mini crib mattress is 24 inches wide and 38 inches long.

Just as the names suggest the difference between the two is mainly size and portability. However the majority of mini cribs have dimensions 38 by 24 so they are 14 shorter and 4 narrower form standard cribs.
