There are two separate brake systems on the model a the four wheel service brakes and the emergency brake.
Model a ford brake rod adjustment.
Jack up all four wheels.
Place pin in clevis one at a time and adjust until pin snaps over brake arm.

Remove rod a 1853 that connects emergency brake lever to cross shaft center.
Turn the carburetor adjusting rod one full turn to the left to give it a richer mixture.
The fifteen degrees is ideal but not set in stone as all cars have some different wear and characteristics.
